Confirmed Celtic line-up v Barcelona: Rodgers switches to 4-3-3, Dembele on the bench

Celtic take on Barcelona at the Aviva Stadium this evening.

Celtic starting line-up: Gordon; Janko, Ambrose, O’Connell, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton, McGregor; Roberts, Griffiths, Forrest.

Celtic substitutes: Fasan, Fisher, Ciftci, Dembele, Armstrong, Christie, Rogic, Allan, Ajer, McCart, Ralston.

Celtic continue their International Champions Cup campaign this evening as they face Barcelona at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

The Bhoys, who drew 1-1 with Astana in midweek as they bid to qualify for the Champions League group stage, drew their opening game of the International Champions Cup with Leicester City last weekend, but did eventually lose on penalties.

Tonight, it's from the champions of England to the champions of Spain, as Celtic take on Barcelona in Ireland, looking to spring a shock on arguably the finest club team in world football.

Manager Brendan Rodgers may have used a 3-5-2 system in recent games, but tonight it's back to 4-3-3 as he goes with a back four of Saidy Janko, Efe Ambrose, Eoghan O'Connell and Emilio Izaguirre in front of Craig Gordon.

Scott Brown, Nir Bitton and Callum McGregor make up the midfield three, whilst wingers Patrick Roberts and James Forrest will support lone striker Leigh Griffiths.

That means that Moussa Dembele - who has yet to score for Celtic since signing for the club from Fulham in Junge - is on the bench, alongside the likes of Nadir Ciftci, Stuart Armstrong, Ryan Christie, Tom Rogic, Scott Allan and Kristoffer Ajer.

There is no place in the squad for Kolo Toure though, as Celtic's newest signing is still building up his fitness having been without a club all summer.
