Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page that Rob Holding is a player who anticipates well.
Wenger made the comments about the 20-year-old defender following the Gunners’ 2-1 victory over the MLS All-Stars.
Holding started the pre-season friendly match at the Avaya Stadium and played for the entire 90 minutes.
Joel Campbell put the Premier League outfit in the lead in the 11th minute, but former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba equalised for the MLS All-Stars on the stroke of half time.
Chuba Akpom scored the winner for Arsenal just three minutes before the full-time whistle.
Wenger was seemingly impressed with the performance of Holding against the MLS All-Stars and spoke highly of the youngster.
