Tottenham bosses past and present: Harry Redknapp and Mauricio Pochettino

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been waiting a long time for confirmation of Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s signing and it seems they are going to have to wait a while longer.

According to a report from Get French Football News, Clinton N’Jie’s failure to get a visa at the first tie of trying has held up the connected deal that will see N’Koudou arrive at White Hart Lane.

N’Jie is set for a loan spell at Marseille but the two players have not swapped places yet after the Cameroon international allegedly made a mistake in his visa application resulting in its rejection.

Still, the deal is expected to be completed by the end of the week…but Tottenham fans have heard that before.

In other news, HITC sources have told us that Tottenham are battling Arsenal for the signing of Maxi Romero.

The 17-year-old is currently on the books at Velez Sarsfield and we have been told that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has made personal enquiries about the striker and has been encouraged by the feedback.

Tottenham are now believed to be readying a bid for the youngster.

And finally, Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier has told the Daily Mail that he will not be going anywhere this summer.

That comes after claims he was a £5million target for Southampton. However despite playing second fiddle to Kyle Walker last season the former Burnley man is staying in North London in his bid for more first-team football.
