West Ham are weighing up a £15 million bid for Juventus attacker Roberto Pereyra, according to Italian publication Sport Mediaset.

The Hammers have been linked with the Argentine for much of the summer and could be about to formalise their move in the near future.

Slaven Bilic has been active in the transfer market this summer, adding Gokhan Tore, Sofiane Feghouli, Havard Nordtveit and Ashley Fletcher to his ranks, but he appears to have further targets in mind.

The East End club have struggled in their pursuit of a marquee striker so far, with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Michy Batsuayi and Carlos Bacca proving difficult to tempt.

Doubts also surround the futures of Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia, with both linked with possible exits by Sky Sports and Haberler, respectively.

Pereyra is surplus to requirements at Juventus and would add an injection of extra quality to the Hammers’ attacking options.

The 25-year old is a pacey and direct attacking midfielder and his presence alongside Dimitri Payet, Manuel Lanzini, Tore and Feghouli would provide Bilic with a wealth of options next season.
