Leeds United are looking to add players to their under-21 squad for the upcoming season.
According to a report in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are in negotiations to sign both Conor Shaughnessy and Billy Whitehouse.
The pair of midfielders have both been on trial at Leeds in recent weeks, and they have impressed the coaching staff.
Shaughnessy and Whitehouse would be signed to go into Leeds’ under-21 squad for the upcoming campaign.
Shaughnessy has been released by Reading, and is looking for a new club.
The youngster scored for Leeds in a friendly against Tadcaster Albion, and after a picture was posted online a number of eagle eyed Whites supporters identified him.
Whitehouse, meanwhile, is still under contract at Doncaster, but he is on the transfer list.
Whitehouse was one of five players Doncaster made available for transfer following their relegation to League Two.
Whitehouse has made nine senior appearances for Doncaster in his career to date.
Leeds are also thought to be hoping to add another midfielder to their senior side this summer.
