Liverpool's Alberto Moreno (R) in action with Chelsea's Willian
Liverpool suffered their first defeat of their pre-season campaign with a 1-0 loss to Chelsea in their International Champions Cup clash in Los Angeles.
It was a tight contest with very few chances that was settled with a 10th minute goal from Gary Cahill as he headed home a Cesc Fabregas corner.

While conceding from a set-piece is a familiar feeling for Liverpool, it's another familiar feeling on twitter for several Liverpool fans in being dissastisfied with the performance of left-back Alberto Moreno.
Moreno certainly made his mark on the game early on with a poor challenge on Willian in the sixth minute, which saw the Spaniard deservedly booked.
There were times when he seemed to look a threat going forward but did look vulnerable at times, but given there is a lack of competition for the Spaniard in that area, it seems that many are determined to see at least some competition at left-back, or an upgrade altogether.

It looks as though those on twitter won't be entirely satisfied unless there is a left-back signed before the transfer window shuts at the end of next month.
Here is a selection of what some fans on twitter had to say:
Of course Moreno puts in a full blown challenge on Willian in a friendly.— LFC Fans Corner (@LFCFansCorner) July 28, 2016
Moreno launching Willian into the stands early on & looking his dodgy self again. He's our biggest worry until we sign another LB. #LFC— Mo (@CoutinOhOhOh) July 28, 2016
We need a LB moreno can stay to fight for his place but other teams will target his regular jolly's during games.— Dave (@LfcDaverob) July 28, 2016

Moreno is horrific at left back, his decision making and game reading skills are shocking. A new and better LB is what we need to push on.— Jürgen (@Klopp87) July 28, 2016
