The Tottenham boss has certainly left an impression on ‘Cholo’.
He is quoted as having this to say about the Spurs supremo by Tele Madrid this week:
"We've known each other for a long time and have competed as coaches in Spain. His mind is fabulous.
“Last season he developed a philosophy of the game onto his team. Hopefully that can continue to improve."

Those are certainly kind words by Simeone regarding his countryman, with whom he was a member of the 2002 Argentina World Cup squad.
Pochettino has worked wonders at both Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur during his time in England and it is his excellent and burgeoning reputation that forced Spurs into handing him a new contract and job title in May of this year.

Simeone is an equally impressive manager and it will be a real test for Pochettino to try and get the better of Los Colchoneros tomorrow.
