Cole has posed for pictures with his former teammates in LA
Chelsea are in LA preparing for a pre-season clash with Liverpool on Wednesday, and Cole could not resist meeting up with some of his old friends.
The 35-year-old made over 200 appearances for the club before leaving Stamford Bridge for Roma in 2014.
After struggling to hold down a regular first team spot with the Italian giants, the former England international is now plying his trade for LA Galaxy in the MLS.

But he clearly still has a great affinity with Blues, posing for pictures with Cesar Azpilicueta, Eden Hazard and Willian.
However, his snap with former captain John Terry and good friend Boateng arguably caused the biggest stir, with both players seizing the opportunity to praise each other, and Cole.
On his initial Instagram post Boateng wrote: "The legend and worldclass CB @johnterry.26 with one of the best left backs ever @theofficialac3 Great to see u guys today."
Terry, who was offered a one-year contract extension last season, replied: "Great to see @theofficialac3 and @jeromeboateng today The best left back ever and in my opinion one of the best CB about at the minute."
There appears to be little chance of Boateng signing on at Stamford Bridge, though, with the Evening Standard claiming that the Germany international is in LA on holiday after being given extended time off following his exertions at Euro 2016.
