Ipswich are bracing themselves for interest in McGoldrick this summer as clubs look to bolster their attacking options.
The 28-year-old, who was the subject of an £8million bid from Leicester City in 2014, has scored 32 goals and laid on 16 assists in a 104 appearances for Ipswich with the player seeing his progress last season hampered by injuries.
Republic of Ireland international McGoldrick has two years to run on his contract at Ipswich and he is understood to be keen to test himself at a higher level if the right opportunity presents itself.
Dutch side FC Twente have been keeping tabs on McGoldrick and are ready to offer the former Southampton man the chance to try his luck abroad.
Sheffield Wednesday are also weighing up a move for the striker as Owls boss Carlos Carvalhal looks to build a squad capable of winning promotion to the Premier League next season after missing out to Hull City in the play-off final last season.
