Arsenal have been training in the US after touching down for their pre-season tour.

Prior to Arsene Wenger, Jack Wilshere and Petr Cech holding an introductory press conference, the players were put through their paces, with some of the younger members of the squad on show.

One of those was new signing Rob Holding, who clinched a £2 million from Bolton Wanderers last week, while another to feature was exciting England youth international Chris Willock.

Arsene Wenger was also spotted deep in conversation with Theo Walcott, who missed out on England's Euro 2016 squad earlier this summer, as was Granit Xhaka, who did go to the tournament with Switzerland.

The Gunners face a MLS All Stars team on Friday at 00:30 UK time, with the match being their only game of the tour.

Wenger will be desperate for his side to come through the game without any injuries, with the manager admitting, speaking to SkySports, that German defender Per Mertesacker faces several months out of action.

The injury could make Wenger look to the transfer market as a solution, but new signing Rob Holding now has a chance to make an early impression and show he is deserving of a surprisingly prominent early role.
