The full-back has completed a move to Bournemouth.
The full-back completed a move to the Cherries on Wednesday, with the Australian full-back signing a four-year deal at the club.
He is the latest to leave Anfield this summer, with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp selling several stars as he moulds the squad to better suit his needs.
Indeed, he is the second to make the switch to Bournemouth after Jordon Ibe completed a move earlier in the transfer window.
Smith's move comes as something of a surprise, especially given Liverpool’s problems in the left-back position last season.
And Reds fans were keen to wish him the best of luck on Twitter after he completed his exit.
Good luck to @bradsmith_94 at Bournemouth. Of all footballers I've met definitely one of the better people! All the best lad— Austin Jones. (@AJones_L14) July 27, 2016
Gutted we let @bradsmith_94 go, was good when he came into the team last year and will be brilliant at Bournmouth— Daniel Robinson (@Daniel_Rob4) July 27, 2016
Brad Smith at £6m is a wonderful piece of business!— Jang wook (@jangwookie) July 27, 2016
It now remains to be seen whether Smith will be a regular for the Cherries next season.
They are looking to build on an impressive first season in the Premier League and he will be keen to become a part of their success story.
Should he go on to establish himself as a Premier League regular, it will be interesting to see if Liverpool end up regretting letting him go.
