Former Liverpool youngster Daniel Cleary is set for a move to Birmingham City, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Cleary left Liverpool earlier this summer after spending five years at the club following his arrival from Irish side Crumlin United in 2011.
Cleary was informed he would not be getting a new deal at Liverpool when his contract expired this summer and he has been keeping his options open.

The 20-year-old was on the fringes of the Liverpool first-team during Brendan Rodgers’ time in charge but has found his chances limited after Jurgen Klopp’s arrival as manager.
Cleary was named on the bench for Liverpool’s Europa League clash with Bordeaux in September 2015, but never got on and he failed to make a senior appearance during his time at Anfield.

A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the free agent this summer, but Birmingham have moved quickly to agree a deal for the central defender.
Cleary is initially set to link up with Birmingham’s development squad before being fast-tracked into the Blues’ first-team as Rowett is a big admirer of the player.
