People News: Deutsche Bank, HSBC, UBS

Deutsche Bank Wealth Management, a part of Deutsche Bank, appointed Steven Mattus as the head of global products and solutions for the Americas region.

Reuters reports that Mattus joins the bank as managing director and will be based in New York.

In the meantime, the news agency also reports that HSBC Private Bank, a unit of HSBC, appointed Joe Abruzzo as business head of North America.

Abruzzo, who will be based in New York, will also serve as a member of the HSBC Global Private Bank executive committee.

Finally, Reuters reports that UBS appointed Javier Oficialdegui and Laurent Bouvier as co-heads of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) sector client coverage and origination, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters.

The bank also named Juan Monte and Jasper Tans co-heads of EMEA country coverage and origination ex UK.
