Rangers are hoping to challenge Celtic for the title this season.
Kranjcar is one of nine new faces at Ibrox this summer as manager Mark Warburton has strengthened heavily for their first season back in the Scottish Premiership.
There is a lot of expectation on them heading into the new season, with Gers fans hoping to see their side compete with Celtic in their first season back in the top flight.
They have started brightly with three wins out of three in the revamped Scottish League Cup so far and Kranjcar says he believes they have the qualities to make it an unforgettable season.
“I am really happy I joined this football club and I hope we have an unforgettable season,” he told rangers.co.uk.
“I think we have the qualities to do it. It’s a great bunch of lads, a great management and backroom staff. It’s just a fantastic football club with a great fan base and a foundation to bring Rangers back where they belong.”
It is certainly looking likely to be an exciting season in the Scottish top flight with Rangers hoping to make their mark.
They have a tough challenge on their hands supplanting Celtic, but will be confident they are up to the task given the signings they have made.
Indeed, the semi-final clash between the two sides last season showed the gap between them may not be too great and it will be interesting to discover if that is the case as the season progresses.
