The on-going Paul Pogba transfer saga appears to have taken another twist, and not one that Manchester United will like.

Talks over the midfielder are looking complicated to say the least, with such a big deal never likely to be concluded quickly.

And it appears they have hit a big snag, all because of his agent Mino Raiola and the money he will receive from the potential move.

According to AS, Raiola is set to pocket £20 million from the transfer but Juventus are refusing to pay half of it. As a result, the so-called super agent has cancelled a planned medical in Miami until they reach an agreement.

Should Pogba not arrive, one man Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing as an alternative is Blaise Matuidi.

And it appears he will be allowed to leave Paris Saint-Germain should he want to, according to Unai Emery’s latest comments anyway.

“He is a very good player,” Emery told L'Equipe, quoted by the Independent. "We have a lot of left-footed defensive midfielders.

"If he has the opportunity to leave and if he thinks there are too many midfielders here… But I do not want him to go."

On to departures, and another man that may be heading for an exit is full-back Matteo Darmian.

The defender made 39 appearances after moving from Torino last season but it was an indifferent campaign for him to say the least.

Now he could be set for a return to Italy, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming he is a 'dream' target for Napoli.
