Moses is hoping to feature for Chelsea this season after being loaned out for each of the past three campaigns.
Moses has been on loan for each of the past three seasons at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United as it seemed he was unfancied by Jose Mourinho, but the winger has something to prove under Conte and has stated that his preferred role is out wide.
He told the official Chelsea website: "That is my position really, staying out wide and most of the time going into one v one situations which I am good at. It is similar to the kind of game I was playing at Wigan and I have really enjoyed the two games. As a winger, you want to get at defenders and make it hard for them. Instead of them going forwards, they have to defend against you.
"I came back to start my pre-season early with the group of players who had been on loan last season, which helped as well, but to be honest, I just want to enjoy my football. I want the fans to be able to recognise I am doing something good for the club but at the same time I want to work hard for the team and make sure we win games."
It remains to be seen whether Conte sees a future for the Nigeria international at Stamford Bridge, and Moses will be hoping to use the remainder of their pre-season schedule to impress the new manager and prove that he could have a role to play at the club in the season ahead.
He may, however, be blighted by the lack of European football at Stamford Bridge this term even if he does impress, and one wonders where he will fit into Conte's set-up. Although it remains to be seen if he adopts a similar system for the medium term as he did during both his time at Juventus and while in charge of the Italian national side.
