Jeffrey Schlupp is a Transfer target for West Brom
Ghanasoccernet.com are reporting that Leicester will reject West Brom's improved offer of £10 million for Jeffrey Schlupp. The report claims that the Baggies were willing to double Schlupp's wages, but the Foxes have once again batted away any advances.
The Sunderland Echo claim that Leicester are interested in signing Sunderland centre-back Lamine Kone, although it is understood by HITC Sport that Everton are favourites in the race for the Ivorian's signature, after making an official approach.
"Stay with us, it's much better, much better. He's our champion. If he goes in another team, there are so many champions. I understand when he plays so-so and I can permit to stay on the pitch. When another manager, when he plays so-so, there are so many other stars I put him on the bench. It's important you give confidence. I think, I hope he can stay with us because it's important for us and it's important for him."

So rather than a bold message of 'we will not be selling' it was more a case of you should stay at Leicester because you're a big fish in a small pond. Strange words from Ranieri to say the least.
In other news, ESPN are reporting that Leicester are set to offer highly rated 20-year-old defender Callum Elder a new three-year contract, before sending the Australian out on loan again to aid his development.
And finally club captain Wes Morgan has had his say on the departure of N'Golo Kante, telling ESPN that although he was sad to see him go, he and his teammates are still positive as they head into the new Premier League campaign:
"Yeah, there is going to be speculation and it's sad to see N'Golo Kante go, but we've got new players in now and everyone is settled in well and we're just training hard and looking forward to the season."
