Judging by the pictures provided, there is still a long way to go before the new arena even starts to take shape, but what is a particular bonus for Spurs fans is the location of the stadium and its close proximity to White Hart Lane.

When Tottenham do eventually move into their new home, they can expect to compete financially with Europe's most elite clubs.

The increased revenue expected from match-day ticket sales will provide Spurs with a newly found financial muscle, and playing in such an impressive arena will surely enable them to attract players of a higher calibre than they have been able to in previous seasons.
