According to a report from the Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are planning a move for Aston Villa teenager Andre Green this summer.

The 17-year-old is predominantly a left winger although he can also operate on the opposite flank or as a secondary striker if required.

Tottenham have some of the most exciting young players in the country on their books yet they are not standing still and a move for Green would strengthen that group even more.

Tottenham's Clinton Njie sat in the stands

In other news, beIN Sport claims Tottenham attacker Clinton N’Jie has passed his medical ahead of a loan move to Marseille.

The Cameroon international struggled for game-time last season, in no small part due to injury, and it seems he is now heading back to Ligue 1 in pursuit of regular first-team football.

The report claims a doctor travelled to London this weekend to complete the medical and that Marseille have a compulsory purchase clause of £5.8million to be activated at the end of the next campaign.

Leicester's Marc Albrighton and Tottenham's Nabil Bentaleb

Moving on, Portuguese newspaper Record claims Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb is a loan target for Benfica.

The Algeria international has failed to build on his breakthrough campaign and with so much competition for places at White Hart Lane it would be no surprise to see him move on this summer.

With Bentaleb omitted from Spurs’ travelling party for their upcoming pre-season matches, it seems he will be heading out the exit, albeit temporarily.

And finally, there is still no news regarding Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s seemingly imminent move to Tottenham.

An announcement was expected by the end of last week but perhaps N’Jie’s switch to Marseille will finally see N’Koudou make the move in the opposite direction.
