Queens Park Rangers have made four additions so far during the transfer window.
QPR were expected to invest in improving their front line this summer, but so far they have been unable to secure the signing of a striker.
Sebastian Polter and Conor Washington both failed to convince that they had what it takes to lead the line regularly at QPR through their performances last season.
Many R’s supporters are hoping that a new front man will be brought to Loftus Road, but Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has not secured one so far.
With the Championship season edging ever closer, Rangers are now under pressure to bring in a forward.
However, Fernandes has suggested that spending money is not always a solution - after watching his side draw 0-0 with Wycombe Wanderers in a pre-season friendly yesterday.
@dean_hunter17 working on it. Please don't focus on friendlies. Jimmy giving all a game. Playing with different formations. Long long season— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) July 23, 2016
Buying is not always the solution. Lots of young lads coming through as well. That's credit to new team. See you in Burton— Tony Fernandes (@tonyfernandes) July 23, 2016
Despite their failure to sign a striker, QPR have still been active in the transfer window to date - with four new players joining.
