Sunderland supporters have praised Charles N’Zogbia’s performance for them against Rotherham United yesterday.
N’Zogbia is currently on trial at Sunderland, following the expiration of his contract at Aston Villa.
The French midfielder fell completely out of favour at Villa, with many of their fans frustrated with his attitude off the pitch.
However, N’Zogbia has been working hard to earn a new contract at Sunderland.
The attacking midfielder has spent the majority of pre-season with the Black Cats so far, and his performance against Rotherham caught the eye.
N’Zogbia scored the winner in the latter stages of the match at the New York Stadium, when he finished well from inside the box.
Sunderland fans initially appeared sceptical over the idea that N’Zobgia could be set to join, but they are beginning to warm to the prospect of the transfer.
