Stan Collymore has suggested that he believes Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish will thrive in the Championship over the upcoming campaign.
Grealish struggled to show his true potential last term, as Villa fell to relegation.
The attacking midfielder dropped out of Villa’s first choice line-up under Remi Garde, but he is expected to be central to Roberto Di Matteo’s plans.
And Collymore has suggested that he could be one of the standout players in the Championship next term.
Collymore has also had his say about Jordan Amavi’s future, with rumours that he could be a transfer target for Liverpool.
Amavi had an impressive debut season in English football, before he picked up an injury which kept him out for the back end of the campaign.
Liverpool are said to be willing to sign Amavi, and Collymore feels he would be a good addition for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Villa chairman Tony Xia has previously stated that Amavi won’t leave Villa this summer, meaning Liverpool could struggle to get a deal done.
