The former Manchester United man is worried their old rivals could be on the way back under the German.
The German manager has been a huge hit at Anfield since replacing Brendan Rodgers at the club in October last year.
During his time in charge he has already led them to the final of the Europa League and the Capital One Cup.
With a full pre-season in which he can further implement his style, many are predicting big things from Liverpool next season.
And Beckham has admitted that Klopp’s presence on Merseyside could be worrying for Manchester United fans.
“It makes it unpredictable, but with Klopp going in at Liverpool, you could see the change,” he told Sky Sports.
“And when he first went in, I started to think, 'This could be worrying as a Man United fan to see Liverpool coming back to being up there again with the big teams'.”
It now remains to be seen whether Liverpool can compete at the top of the Premier League next season.
They do not have the distraction of the Europa League to contend with, with that tournament and the extra games that come with it having affected them last season.
Indeed, the last time they had just the league to focus on they nearly ended up as champions under Rodgers, and Klopp will be hoping for something similar in his first full season in charge.
