The two players have both joined Arsenal this summer.

New Arsenal signings Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding have been pictured training with the club for the first time.

The Gunners were expected to be busy this summer after their disappointment over last season.

That has not proven to be the case though, with just Granit Xhaka arriving as a senior player so far.

They have signed Rob Holding and Takuma Asano also, but given they are very much players for the future, they are not the type of signings Gunners fans were hoping to see.

Nonetheless, there is some optimism about their new arrivals among the fan base, especially Switzerland star Xhaka.

He put in several impressive performances for his country at Euro 2016 this summer and Arsenal fans are keen to see him replicate that at the Emirates.

Holding meanwhile, was Bolton Wanderers player of the season last year, and fans will be hoping he can develop into a top talent in the coming years.

Both have had to wait to get started in training with their new side, but have now been pictured in their first Arsenal training sessions. Here’s a selection of the best pictures:
