It is the Foxes who have acted first however, and they will hope their head-start gives them the advantage over their Premier League rivals.

Kapustka is a graduate of the Cracovia academy and has made 63 senior appearances for the club since his breakthrough in the 2013-14 campaign; scoring six goals in the process.

The central midfielder impressed many with his performances over the summer and could be viewed as a direct replacement for the departed N’Golo Kante at the King Power Stadium.

Everton meanwhile, could add the talented young midfielder to their current crop consisting of the likes of Ross Barkley and James McCarthy as Ronald Koeman looks to provide greater strength in depth at his new club.

Southampton have lost Victor Wanyama to Spurs this summer and Kaputska would make an ideal addition to the heart of their midfield.
