Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to comment after to Georginio Wijnaldum completed his move to Anfield.
The Dutchman was widely expected to leave St James Park this summer after an impressive first year at St James Park.
He scored 11 goals in all competitions despite their relegation to the Championship, a tally that saw him finish as Newcastle’s top scorer.

He has now signed a five-year deal with Jurgen Klopp’s side and will join them on their pre-season tour of America this weekend.
The fee is something of a large one, given that Steve McClaren only paid £14 million to bring him from PSV Eindhoven last year.

Nonetheless, Liverpool fans are largely eager to see him star for them next season and shared their views about the signing on Twitter.

It now remains to be seen what effect that Wijnaldum’s arrival will have on the players currently at the club.
Klopp has a several attacking midfielders at his disposal already, but the fee paid for the Dutchman strongly suggests he will be a first team regular.
Should that be the case, it will be interesting to see who drops out of the team to accommodate him.
