All the latest news involving West Ham United

Despite the news earlier this week that deals for both Carlos Bacca and Jonathan Calleri are on the cards, another striker is reportedly being sought by West Ham United.

According to Sport, the Hammers, along with Premier League rivals Stoke City, have entered negotiations to sign Robin van Persie from Fenerbahce.

Though the former Manchester United striker is a shadow of his former self, he managed a healthy 22 goals in all competitions last term.

However, attack might not be the only area of Slaven Bilic's squad facing congestion this season, that's if Kicker are to be believed.

The German publication reports that both West Ham and Southampton are monitoring Borussia Dortmund winger Jakub Blaszczykowski, despite the former having already added Sofiane Feghouli and Gokhan Tore this summer.

Back to Bacca now; the Colombian has been left out of AC Milan's pre-season tour squad, as confirmed by the club's official website.

It's is yet another hint that the Irons are closing in on their man, after his Instagram post on Thursday. The Mirror reports that a £27 million fee has been agreed between the two clubs.

But could there be a spanner in the works? According to Di Marzio, Bacca favours a return to Sevilla if he's to leave the San Siro.

This now seems unlikely, however, with Sevilla transfer guru Monchi (first name: Monster...maybe) telling a press conference that the 29-year-old will not be making a swift return to Andalusia, as the club already have a full quota of non-EU players (Talksport).

With Bacca's arrival increasingly likely, it seems, Diafra Sakho may finally be allowed to move on.

And the Birmingham Mail report that West Brom are in advanced talks with the Senegal striker's representatives - and willing to pay £15 million to land him ahead of Sunderland and Crystal Palace.

Finally, in non-transfer news, Sam Allardyce's appointment as England manager could lead to a recall for Hammers striker Andy Carroll.

Bookmakers SkyBet have the 27-year-old at 4/6 to feature in Big Sam's first squad this September.

Now what about Noble, Antonio and Cresswell?
