Moussa Sissoko look likely to leave Newcastle this summer, with Juventus the bookies favourites to sign the French international, ahead of Real Madrid and Everton.

Bookmakers SkyBet have installed Serie A giants Juventus as the new 2/1 favourites in the race for Newcastle United star Moussa Sissoko's signature.

The French midfielder's future has been the subject of intense speculation over the summer, and that has increased after his impressive showings at Euro 2016.

Newcastle's reported £35 million valuation of Sissoko (ESPN) seems perfectly reasonable in football's current climate, and the Guardian report that the French international is the Turin outfit's preferred potential replacement for Paul Pogba, should he leave the club.

A move to the Serie A champions would certainly be a step up for Sissoko, but one that he would surely be more than capable of making, and his powerful runs from midfield would benefit the Juve side, especially in the absence of Pogba.

SkyBet list Real Madrid as second favourites at 100/30, while Everton are third in the race priced at 5/1. The Toffees need for a midfielder is no secret, and they have been entrenched in a battle for the signature of Axel Wiesel throughout the summer. The Sun have reported, however, that the Belgian is now likely to join Inter Milan, leaving the Blues empty handed.

A move for Sissoko from Everton would be an ambitious one, and with no European football on offer, it would be a tall order for the Merseyside outfit to lure the Frenchman to Goodison Park, especially if the likes of Juventus and Real Madrid are involved in the battle for his signature.
