Leeds United are reportedly interested in Haukur Heidar Hauksson.
According to a report on Swedish site Expressen, Leeds United have made a bid for Haukur Heidar Hauksson.
The Icelandic international is currently playing for AIK in the Swedish Premier League, after previously impressing in his homeland.
The right-back has made 32 appearances and scored three times for AIK, and his displays have caught the eye of Leeds’ scouts.
Leeds have already signed one player from Sweden this summer, with Marcus Antonsson joining the Elland Road club.
And it seems that the Whites could be prepared to make Hauksson their seventh signing of the summer.
The 24-year-old was part of Iceland’s squad at Euro 2016, but he did not play during their run to the quarter-finals.
Leeds are hopeful of signing a right-back, as Garry Monk looks to improve his options in defence.
Leeds have also been linked with Conor McLaughlin of Fleetwood Town and Reece Wabara, who is currently a free agent.
