Both Leeds United and Brighton and Hove Albion will be aiming for promotion into the Premier League during the upcoming Championship campaign and in order to do so, the duo will most certainly have to strengthen their respective squads this summer.
Leeds have been very active during the close season so far after landing the services of the likes of Kemar Roofe, Marcus Antonsson, Matt Grimes and Hadi Sacko among others and despite the influx of players, manager Garry Monk is still looking at options to improve his squad.
As for Brighton, they have not made as big an impact as Leeds so far after only bringing in veteran duo Steve Sidwell and Glenn Murray to the Amex Stadium, but one can expect the Seagulls to speed things up in the transfer market during the next few weeks.
Bringing in a new attacker seems to be on the agenda for both Leeds and Brighton, and now according to reports from France Football, revelations can be made that the Championship duo are currently considering a move for Yacine Bammou.
Bammou is currently plying his trade for Ligue 1 side Nantes and the striker has been crucial to helping his side achieve midtable finishes over the past two seasons since his arrival to the La Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau in 2014.
As a result, Bammou seems to have managed to catch the attention of both Leeds and Brighton, and it will be interesting to see which side will be able to land the services of the Moroccan international this summer.
Although not a prolific scorer, Bammou is very effective as a target man and his physicality could be well suited to the challenging English Championship.
