According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini is willing to take a gamble on Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli this summer, should he be available on the cheap.

The striker is expected to leave Anfield after being told by manager Jurgen Klopp to find himself a new club.

That may be hard to do though, with the last two years having seen Balotelli struggle at both Liverpool and on loan at AC Milan.

However, it appears that there may be one last admirer in him and that is Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini.

According to Tuttosport, he is willing to gamble on Balotelli this summer, as he believes the move would cost virtually nothing given Liverpool’s desperation to offload the striker.

The Italian also reportedly feels that Balotelli has matured in recent years, especially during his injury-hit year in Serie A last season.

However, there may be one major obstacle to a return to the club and that is their fans feelings towards their former player.

Despite him often declaring his love for the club they are openly opposed to any potential return, although the report suggests that Mancini could convince the club to ignore those calls.
