Everton are believed to be interested in Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Everton fans appear to have had a mixed reaction to the rumours that they are trying to sign Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
According to the Guardian, Everton are prepared to spend £35 million to ensure that they sign Sissoko.
Sissoko impressed for France at Euro 2016, which has driven his value up - with a number of sides interested.
Everton are said to have a vast amount of money to spend this summer, but they are yet to spend much of it.
The Toffees are believed to be willing to splash the cash to land Sissoko, but his arrival at Goodison Park wouldn’t go down well with every supporter.
Here is the best reaction from Everton fans to the rumours on social media site Twitter.
From Witsel & Mata to Sissoko & Sigurdsson...Pattern developing here. #EFC paying the price for Martinez's disastrous two years.

Sissoko played in the right position could be absolute class. Not even bothered! He's a beast & could run central midfield #EFC

If Everton pay £35 million for Sissoko then I'm going to Tesco and I'm paying 60 quid for a pint of milk. Worlds gone mad! #EFC

I know we have money but Sissoko for 35 million, seriously, absolute dirt apart from two games in the Euro's #EFC

I think Sissoko exemplifies the kind of players #EFC can attract. Shopping alongside the big boys looks like it's proving difficult.

Would Sissoko be a good signing? Possibly. Would Moshiri be foolish enough to pay £35 Million? I certainly hope not #EFC

Newcastle fans have made their opinion clear on Sissoko, by chanting that they wanted him to leave during their latest friendly against Doncaster Rovers.
Sissoko is yet to return to pre-season training with Newcastle, but he is currently scheduled to join in with Rafael Benitez’s side on August 1st.
