Kiernan has agree a deal until 2018, while Foderingham and Tavernier have committed to 2019 as Rangers moved to reward those who served them in their promotion winning campaign last season.
And Warburton says he was delighted with the work that the club did in getting their players secured on new deals.
“I'm delighted with the work we've done today,” he told the Daily Mail.
“To get Wes Foderingham, Rob Kiernan and James Tavernier to extend their deals by a year is good news.”
Rangers' Martyn Waghorn celebrates scoring their fourth goal
The Rangers boss has also provided an update on the negotiations with Martyn Waghorn.
The striker was their top goalscorer with 28 goals last season and they are keen to get him signed up to a new deal as soon as possible
However, reports have indicated that he is stalling on signing and has rejected the first offer that they put forward.
Warburton admits that discussions are still on-going with him, but says that the player’s attitude has been first class nonetheless.
