Terra Firma appoints new CEO

Terra Firma Capital Partners ('Terra Firma') has announced the appointment of Andrew Géczy as Chief Executive Officer.

Géczy has spent over 25 years in leadership roles across a number of international financial organisations. Throughout his career he has been responsible for the formulation and implementation of corporate strategies across a range of businesses, as well as talent and organisational development.

He joins Terra Firma from Australia & New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), where he was CEO of International and Institutional Banking. Géczy was previously Group Executive Director and CEO of Wholesale Banking & Markets at Lloyds Banking Group. Before that, he founded and ran an investment advisory boutique and asset manager.

Prior to 2005 Géczy spent 14 years at Citigroup in a variety of roles, most notably Global Head of Structured Corporate Finance.

Géczy will join Terra Firma full-time in September 2016.
