Rangers have been very active in the transfer market so far this summer and the Gers have followed up the signings of Joey Barton, Niko Kranjcar, Clint Hill, Matt Gilks, Josh Windass, Matt Crooks, Jordan Rossiter and Lee Hodson with the addition of Joe Dodoo recently.

Dodoo joins Rangers from Premier League champions Leicester City on a free transfer and the 21-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Ibrox based outfit.

Dodoo is a very highly rated young player and although he did not feature much in Leicester City’s title winning campaign last season, the striker managed to prove his worth in the Capital One Cup, scoring 4 goals in 3 appearances.

Foreseeing limited playing time at the King Power Stadium during the upcoming campaign as well, Dodoo declined a chance to extend his stay at Leicester City and will now have a great chance to prove himself at a big club such as Rangers this season.

A day after his arrival, Dodoo joined up with his new teammates in training and following the session, the striker took to social media website, Twitter, to thank the Rangers’ supporters.

He posted,

Rangers fans were understandably delighted with the arrival of such a talented player like Dodoo and they handed the former Leicester man a very warm welcome in response.
