According to a report in the Peterborough Evening Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are both scouting Peterborough United youngster Leonardo Da Silva Lopes.
The 17-year-old has begun to emerge as one of the most exciting talents at Peterborough, after impressing towards the back end of last campaign.
Da Silva Lopes featured in eight of Peterborough’s matches last term, and he has been Grant McCann’s side’s standout performer over pre-season.
The youngster has been stationed in midfield, and his display against Norwich City was particularly impressive.
Arsenal and Spurs are yet to make a bid for the prospect, but he is on both of their radars.
Chelsea are also said to be tracking Da Silva Lopes by Posh’ director of football, Barry Fry.
“The word is out that Leo is a very talented 17 year-old and clubs have been flocking to watch him," Fry said.
“We have had no enquiries, never mind bids, but there have been an awful lot of scouts coming to our games just to watch him.
“Chelsea, Arsenal and Sours are among those to have sent scouts to watch him.”
If Da Silva Lopes stays with Posh for the upcoming season, he is expected to feature fairly regularly in the first-team.
Peterborough have a wealth of options in midfield, but the Portuguese-born talent’s showings over pre-season have forced him into McCann’s plans.
Tottenham have shown a willingness to buy from the Football League in recent times, with Dele Alli joining Mauricio Pochettino's side from Milton Keynes Dons and going on to have great success.
