According to Portuguese newspaper Record, Liverpool are still interested in a move for Benfica star Anderson Talisca.

The Reds have so far been busy in the summer transfer window, with five new faces arriving at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp is not expected to finish there though, with several more signings expected as he moulds the squad to better suit his needs.

They had been linked with Talisca previously, with O Jogo reporting that they were willing to pay £21 million for his services and that the player was keen on the switch.

The rumours have quietened in the last two weeks, but according to Record they have re-entered negotiations to sign him.

The newspaper reports that they are still looking to bring him to Anfield despite concerns over the player’s ability to obtain a work permit.

He has not played in enough international games to automatically warrant a permit and as such would need to be judged as a special talent by a review board to obtain one.

Liverpool would be confident of that happening though, having successfully negotiated the process with midfielder Marko Grujic, and it remains to be seen if Talisca does end up in England this summer.
