The Pole has been linked with the Premier League clubs recently.
Polish international midfielder Karol Linetty has been discussing his future this week, as he continues to be linked with a move away from current club Lech Poznan.
The 21-year-old is being heavily linked with a move to Italian football but was asked today what his thoughts were regarding apparent interest from the Premier League – namely from Tottenham Hotspur and champions Leicester City.
“Those were clubs whose names did have an impression on me, but honestly I can admit that it is not bothering me now.
“Do I have any requirements for a new club? Yes. First of all I would like to go to the West, not the East. No one is pushing for transfer. Neither I nor the club, nor my manager.”
In June it was reported that Tottenham scouts watched Linetty in action for the Polish national team against the Netherlands by Polish outlet Sportowe Fakty.
Tottenham's Nabil Bentaleb
Linetty is clearly keen on a move toward the Premier League, or another big league in Western Europe, so Tottenham and Leicester might do well to follow up their interest.
Everton's Ross Barkley in action with N'Golo Kante
Spurs appear uncertain about several of their central midfield options whilst Leicester need to find a replacement for N’Golo Kante – who has joined Chelsea this summer.
Linetty could be a bargain for either side.
