The two Argentina stars are clearly looking forward to playing each other in the Melbourne showpiece.
Tottenham's Erik Lamela in action
The two Champions League teams are taking part in the International Champions Cup, there are two players who are especially looking forward to it.
Juve hotshot Dybala, the club's top scorer last season with 23 goals, was the first to send his international teammate a friendly challenge, alongside a little showing off of his skill.
His message was: "Hi Erik, we'll be seeing each other soon, can't wait to play against Tottenham."
Lamela, not to be outdone, was quick to reply to the Serie A star, saying: "Hi Paulo, I saw your video, and I'm working to get ready for the game, see you in Australia!"
The Argentine duo are two of their country's most promising young players, and both had hugely successful seasons last year.
Dybala grew into his football at Palermo, before a big money move to Turin last summer where he went on to make a big impression. He is only just coming into international football, but is sure to be given more chances with the national team now Lionel Messi has retired.
While Lamela's big move to Spurs in 2013 didn't go smoothly initially, there is little doubt that the 24-year-old has flourished under his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino.
As recently as last summer there was talk of Lamela leaving the club, but Tottenham supporters must be delighted they kept hold of the former Roma man, as he became a vital part of the club's high intensity, fierce pressing tactics that was so successful as Spurs recorded their highest finish since the 1980s.
There is also no doubt that Lamela is a very different player than the one Spurs thought they were getting when they paid a record fee to bring him to White Hart Lane. He has added a tenacity and doggedness that in a way makes him one of the perfect examples of the way that Pochettino is driving Spurs to play. With his undoubted skill and creativity, if Lamela can tweak his goalscoring knack just a touch to around the 15 goal a season mark, it wouldn't be a stretch to suggest he would be one of the Premier League's best midfielders.
