Stoke City have made a move for the Liverpool midfielder.
Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp
The Welshman has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer as he finds himself down the pecking order at the club.
Swansea City were thought to be keen on bringing him back to the Liberty Stadium, but Stoke City have made a £14 million bid for his services according to the Mirror.

The decision is now in Allen’s hands, with his contract at Anfield expiring next summer and him keen for regular playing time.
And Klopp has refused to discuss the midfielder’s future, but admits he is a big fan of him.
"There is nothing about this and all the transfer rumours," he told BT Sport.
“I like the guy and I really think he is a wonderful football player. I have said all I can say about this. It is all about respecting contracts, negotiating or not - whatever - and making a transfer or not.”

It now remains to be seen what decision that Allen will take about his future this summer after the offer from Stoke.
He is likely to have several offers available to him given the fine performances he put in for Wales at Euro 2016.
Stoke are the first to make a serious bid for him though and given he would be guaranteed first team football in Mark Hughes side, he may be tempted by the move.
