Both players were key performers for the U21 side last season as they reached the Division Two play-off final.
New manager Roberto di Matteo has now handed them the chance to impress this summer as they gear up for life in the Championship next season.

Hepburn-Murphy has already starred in the 5-1 win over Worcester, while they also featured in the draw with Bristol Rovers.
And Bennett says he thinks that both of them have been very impressive and van be pleased with the performance they have put in.
“I think they’ve both been really impressive,” he told avfc.co.uk.
“They can be pleased with the way they’ve performed in training and in games. I have certainly been impressed. They are both doing well at the moment and hopefully they can play a part for the team in the upcoming season.”

It remains to be seen whether either player has a role to play in the Aston Villa first team next season.
They have clearly made an impression on the more senior members of the playing squad and they will be hoping to have caught Robert di Matteo’s eye too.
He is currently assessing the squad ahead of the new campaign, and they will be keen to ensure that they have put themselves in the frame for a regular place.
