The Blues will now be hoping that Walsh can work the same sort of transfer magic that he managed at the Kingpower Stadium.
He was credited with bringing the likes N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez to the club, with both proving to be key players in their title winning campaign last year.
While Everton may now have money to spend, similar captures such as those would undeniably be welcomed also.
