According to Sky Sports’ live transfer feed reported at 1:09pm this afternoon that Georges-Kevin N’Koudou has passed his medical at White Hart Lane but an announcement is unlikely today.

The report claims that while the winger is closing in on a £10.8million move from Marseille to Tottenham, it may take until Friday before a deal is officially announced.

That is only going to frustrate those Spurs fans who were left waiting so long for the conclusion of the Vincent Janssen deal, but assuming it gets over the line in due course no one will be complaining.

In other news, according to a report from Sky Sports Tottenham have ended their interest in Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum.

To reports from France now, where Foot Marseille report via L’Equipe that Marseille president Vincent Labrune flew to London earlier this week and visited Clinton N’Jie at his home in a bid to convince him to swap the Premier League for a return to Ligue 1.

The report went on to claim that talks continued until 3:00am but as things stand there are no further details regarding a potential move.
