Tottenham could sell forward Clinton N'Jie this summer.
Tottenham's Clinton Njie
Spurs have already added a defensive midfielder in Victor Wanyama and a new striker in Vincent Janssen, but manager Mauricio Pochetino now appears keen to bring in a new winger too.
Sky Sports report that Marseille youngster Georges-Kevin Nkoudou had a medical with the club on Tuesday ahead of completing a £10.8 move to White Hart Lane, with the 21-year-old coming off a five-goal, three-assist season for Marseille.
A pacey, direct wide man, Nkoudou looks to be an exciting signing for Spurs - but his arrival could spell the end of the road for Clinton N'Jie.
The Cameroon international only joined Spurs from Lyon last summer, but failed to start a Premier League game last season, playing just 185 minutes of action before suffering a major injury in December, ruling him out until May.
Now, the speedy N'Jie could leave Spurs after just a year at the club, with Sky Sports reporting that Marseille want to sign him permanently as a replacement for Tottenham-bound Nkoudou.
With rumours rife that N'Jie could be leaving Spurs, fans have been taking to Twitter to offer their opinions on the forward's future, with an outcry for him to stay.
Tottenham's Clinton Njie sat in the stands
Tottenham supporters have been pleading with the club to keep hold of N'Jie, suggesting that he deserves another chance to shine next season having been unlucky with injuries.
Others think that, with the Champions League on the horizon, N'Jie could still play an important role for Spurs, with the overriding feeling being that it's just too early to let him go just yet...
Here are some of the comments from Spurs fans after N'Jie was linked with a permanent move to Marseille...
Defo should keep N'jie. Wanna see what he can really do and need as big a squad as poss for champs league #THFC— Jack Ovenden (@chandogg4) July 19, 2016
Pleased to bring Nkoudou in but will be very disappointed to lose N'Jie. Was never given a chance so why pay £12m for him last summer? #THFC— Paul F Humphrey (@bump1984) July 19, 2016
Keep N'Jie! Never had the chance due to injury and settling in first year. N'Koudou looks a decent talent but again, raw. Time needed! #COYS— Marc Sibbons (@Sibbo_M11) July 19, 2016
Would you like to see Spurs keep hold of N'Jie?
