The midfielder says Norwich need to hit the ground running next season, starting with their trip to Blackburn Rovers on the opening weekend.

Last season brought about a number of frustrations for the Norway international, who was forced to watch most of last term's Premier League final run-in from the sidelines due to an ankle injury picked up in City's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in March.

But having completed his recovery, Tettey is now raring to go ahead of the new Championship season, which kicks off next month.
Norwich, along with Newcastle United and Aston Villa are many people's favourites for promotion next season, and Tettey is confident the Canaries have enough about them to secure an instant return to the Premier League.

He told the club's official website: "We have a good chance. The spirit is good, and people are fit and working hard. Usually if you work hard, you get results.
"You need a strong squad - everyone is going to have to play their part. It's 46 games, so there will be ups and downs. You need to have the stamina to go all the way."

Norwich open their account with a trip to Blackburn Rovers on August 6th, and Tettey says his side need hit the ground running at Ewood Park.
He continued: "A good start is very important. We want to give the fans something to cheer about, hopefully from the first game."
Tettey will know all about what takes to win promotion from the second tier after making a telling contribution to Norwich's successful 2014/15 campaign, which saw them go up courtesy of a 2-0 play-off final win over Middlesbrough.
