Everton and Middlesbrough are the latest Premier League sides being credited with an interest in Bristol City striker Jonathan Kodjia, the Daily Mail reports.

France Football reported earlier that Sunderland and Stoke City have both tracked the Ivory Coast international, along with Championship duo Derby County and Aston Villa - the latter of whom are said to have made an undisclosed bid.

However, the Daily Mail reports that Everton and Boro are also keen, after Kodjia scored 20 goals in 48 games for the Robins last season.

The 26-year-old cost £2.1 million from French side Angers last summer, though his value is likely to have skyrocketed since.

Boro completed the loan signing of Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo on Wednesday, but Everton are yet to sign a senior outfield player this summer and have found themselves linked to string of attacking names.

FC Utrecht's Sebastien Haller is perhaps the most prevalent, with France Football this week adding to earlier claims from the Daily Mail that the Toffees have entered talks for the 22-year-old, suggesting they also possess the upper hand in pursuit of his signature.

New Everton boss Ronald Koeman was also linked with a move for former Southampton and Feyenoord colleague Graziano Pelle (Star) prior to his move to China.
