Liverpool have added another new defender to their ranks.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been busy in the transfer market and he shows no signs of slowing down, today adding defender Ragnar Klavan to his squad.
The 30-year-old centre-back joins the likes of Sadio Mane, Loris Karius and Joel Matip at Anfield and he will also offer cover at left-back if required.
There was no doubt Klopp needed to strengthen his defensive options this summer and he has moved to do that as swiftly as possible.
Klavan is an Estonian international who previously turned out 140 times for Augsburg, including 40 times in all competitions last season.
Prior to that he enjoyed spells at AZ Alkmaar, Heracles, Viljandi Tulevik and Flora Tallinn.
He will now be tasked with stepping into the Liverpool starting line-up when called upon, although with Matip, Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho also competing at the heart of defence it will be quite a battle.
After the deal was announced we took to Twitter to see what Liverpool fans thought and you can read a selection of what we found below:
At this fee, Ragnar Klavan is a decent back up. Plenty of experience and comes across as a real team player. #LFC— Ankit (@BeingAnkit_) July 20, 2016
Klavan seems like a top bloke and has the experience needed I can look past he's an arsenal fan ;-p #LFC— LFC GRUMPY FROG (@Longblonde88) July 20, 2016
Happy with the signing of a decent back-up in Klavan. 30 is not a bad age for a defender at all. #LFC— Uday (@uday_telkar) July 20, 2016
