Joe Dodoo of Leicester City celebrates with the matchball after beating Bury
Rangers confirmed the signing of Leicester City forward Joe Dodoo on Tuesday evening - and Foxes fans are sad to see him leave.
Dodoo, 21, was born in Ghana but moved over to England at a young age, and was quickly snapped up by Leicester as a youth, meaning he has come up through the ranks at the King Power Stadium.
Dodoo - a pacey forward who can play out wide or up front - has only made one Premier League appearance for Claudio Ranieri's side, but he certainly showed what he can do with a superb performance against Bury in the Capital One Cup last season.
With a hat-trick on his first-team debut, Dodoo hit the headlines, and then struck in the same competition against Premier League rivals West Ham just a month later.
Now though, Dodoo has left the Premier League champions after his contract at the King Power Stadium expired earlier this summer, and has penned a four-year deal with Rangers.
The Gers have only had to pay a modest amount of compensation - just £250,000 according to the Daily Record - and the deal appears to have left some Leicester fans unhappy.
Foxes supporters took to Twitter after the deal was confirmed in order to state that they are sad to see Dodoo go, as they feel he showed some talent and potential in his limited playing time for the club.
Others added that Rangers is a great move for Dodoo, and he should score plenty of goals in Scotland, with many wishing him the best of luck upon his move to Ibrox...
