According to a report from the Daily Mail, Marseille winger Georges-Kevin N’Koudou is having his medical in London today ahead of his proposed move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 21-year-old will allegedly cost Spurs £10.8million and assuming a deal is confirmed in due course he will become the club’s third signing of the summer after Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen.

The same newspaper claims Clinton N’Jie has travelled to France to discuss a loan move in the other direction, despite initially being reluctant to swap the Premier League for Ligue 1 and instead wishing to fight for his place at White Hart Lane.

In other news, the Mirror claims Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino strongly believes that alleged target Georginio Wijnaldum is over-priced at £25million.

That is the fee Newcastle United are said to have put on the attacking midfielder and for that kind of money Pochettino is said to be willing to drop his interest and look elsewhere.

Considering some of the bargains Tottenham have managed to secure so far this summer, it is clear they will not be held to ransom.

Although Wijnaldum may no longer be on the agenda, the Guardian claims Tottenham will still be looking to bring in another attacking midfielder even if a deal for N’Koudou is concluded.

It seems apparent that Pochettino wants to significantly strengthen his squad in key areas ahead of Tottenham’s return to the Premier League.
