According to Bild, Arsenal have been following Germany youngster Philipp Ochs at the European Under-19 Championships.

The Gunners are expected to be busy this summer as manager Arsene Wenger looks to add big name signings to his squad.

Japan's Takuma Asano (R) and South Korea's Yeon Jeimin (L) fight for the ball.

They have not stopped their policy of targeting young signings for the future though as they secured Japanese striker Takuma Asano earlier this month.

And it appears they may have another highly rated youngster in their sights if the latest reports are to be believed. According to Bild, they have been scouting Hoffenheim hotshot Ochs at the European Under-19 Championships.

Hosts Germany were unimpressive in the tournament as they crashed out in the group stages after losing two out of three games, but Ochs was a standout performer.

Rb Leipzig coach Ralf Rangnick.

The 19-year-old hit a hat-trick in the 4-3 defeat to Portugal last week and Arsenal scouts have allegedly been impressed by his performances.

The Gunners are not the only side to have shown an interest either, with his former coach Ralf Rangnick keen to lure him to Bundesliga RB Leipzig also.

A move to Arsenal would surely be a tempting one though given Wenger’s track record of developing young talent, and it remains to be seen if they make a move to secure his signature.
